Business Ideas Of The Future That Can Make Millions

It’s been some time since I’ve shared some awesome business ideas. And, this time I’ve decided to go big. You might think if I’ve got million dollar ideas, why am I not starting one myself? These are not easy and these are life-long projects that need your complete dedication. And, it goes without saying, none of these are risk-free. Also, since these are “ideas of the future", these are possibilities, not validated ideas.

With that said, here goes:

3D Printing

I think we all know by now that 3D printers exist and you can print some cool stuff with them. From keychains to toys to even whole houses. But how many have you seen in real life?

I’m sure you have seen dozens or even hundreds of printers and Xerox machines in your life but are 3D printers commonplace? Definitely not.

There’s also the other side of the spectrum. How big can you go? You can print houses with 3D printers but again they are not commonplace because there are obviously constraints.

Are there things that are grand but need to be customized that can be made with 3D printers? If yes, are the current printers efficient enough? Probably not. This is the challenge you’ll need to solve.

AI Safety, Testing, and Regulation

AI, AI, AI. It’s everywhere.

You know what we don’t have? Ethical practices and regulations.

Where billions are involved, ethics usually go out of the picture. But gradually humans realize things are going too bad and we need to bring things under control to ensure a fair game.

Almost all nations which are doing well on the “Least Corrupt Nations” index were once dealing with heavy corruption in their governments. They are examples of why and how regulations gradually emerge to safeguard everyone.

Tech giants may pretend that they care about privacy and safety but we all know the truth. All AI image models are blatantly being trained on public data without anyone’s consent.

This is where in the next 10 years and later, the safety and quality aspects of AI will need to be addressed. This will be a highly technical and incredibly complex task.

AI regulatory bodies (private or public) will be worth billions.

DNA Reading

A medical challenge that can make us understand the mystery called life.

Our DNA is too complex. Impossible for humans to read, and extremely difficult and costly for even the best machines.

How difficult is this challenge? It took the Human Genome Project billions of dollars and more than two decades to get the most complete human genome sequencing yet.

I’ll let this paragraph from TIME summarize it for you:

In coming years, researchers will also start to generate more of the complete genome, using both maternal and paternal DNA, to help scientists identify the best targets for new therapies and improve understanding of human development and evolution. The more genomes they have, the more potentially important patterns will stand out that could lead to new understanding of human disease and new treatments for them. Ultimately, the goal is that every person would be able to have their complete genome sequenced as part of their medical record, which would allow doctors to compare those sequences to reference ones and determine which variations might be contributing to specific diseases.
